Killer heels 'a must-have' - 30/01/2009

What is the one footwear must-have every fashion discerning woman should have in her wardrobe?

According to Sophie Ferguson Jones it's a pair off "killer out-there sandals ".

In an interview with online resource Shunews, the shopping editor for Grazia magazine said that these heels, along with a little black dress, a pair of straight-cut jeans, a white shirt and a basic cotton T-shirt were the five wardrobe staples no girl should be without.

However, she warned that the biggest style faux-pas ladies can commit occur when they buy clothes that do not suit them, simply because they are in vogue, which may be something that tall slim girls keep in mind when they hit shops that seem full of garments more suited to shorter or more curvaceous ladies.

Ms Ferguson Jones added that her favourite stylist tip at the moment was scarves.

She explained that the garments were highly versatile and could be worn through the belt loops of a pair of jeans, used to ties back hair or jazz up the handles on a handbag, thrown over the shoulders or worn as a sarong on the beach.

And she added that the celebrity she would most like to style is Devil Wears Prada actress Anne Hathaway.

Speaking of the statuesque star, Ms Ferguson Jones explains that Anne was in need of identifying her own style and getting "cool".

As Ms Ferguson Jones points out, one of the best fashion tips is dressing in a way that complements the figure.

However, girls with a tall and slim body shape and larger feet may sometimes feel like this is an impossible goal.

For that reason they may wish to visit Barratts' Big Shoe Boutique, where they can browse a range of footwear - from low heels to high heels and ballerinas to wellies - all in a size to suit them, including size 8 and size 10.
